Choices.
We make choices everyday don't we?
What are the choices that we make?

Attitude is a choice.
We can choose what we want to feel.
The choice that we make determines what is the outcome of your situation.
Your attitude determines your altitude.

You see, some people that have a bad attitude look grumpy all the while but for those with an excellent attitude, you can see a glow in their faces because they choose to smile at the storm knowing that every cloud has its silver lining.

Do you realize that your attitude affects those around you?
No one would want to mix with a person who is always complaining and grumbling nor would you want to be in a company with someone who is critical or judgmental.

Be slow to form judgments about people and circumstances, and be generous in your evaluations by always giving the benefit of the doubt. It is the function of pride to think you know the heart and motives of an individual and then forming an opinion based on your assumptions.-by Marsha Burns-

See the word daily..means EVERYDAY we have to submit our will to HIm and be yielded totally to God..by having an attitude that is pleasing to God.remember attitude is a choice. so in other words we are totally responsible for our attitude.

We have to make a choice DAILY to rise up and overcome our situations and put on a garment of praise no matter what we feel or think!

The mind is the battlefield, but we have the Word, the Blood and the Name to outwit the enemy!
No one, not even the devil can force you to make a decision. Suggestive thoughts may come but only YOU can make the ultimate decision which will eventually determine your victory/defeat.

Dependence and Trust

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.

Proverbs 3:3, 4

Well, nowadays God is teaching me how to depend totally on Him from the smallest matter to the biggest ones_ which means total trust 100%.

Sometimes, we tend to take things into our own hands and leave God out of the picture subconsciously. We thought we are trusting God but we have our own preconceived ideas and think of our own solution. When things happen, some Christians act like unbelievers and they fret and whine and complain as if God in heaven is ignorant to our needs and leave us alone. Their attitude contradicts the promise of God in Hebrews 13:5 which God says ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’, and in 1 Peter 5:7 it is written ‘Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you’. If we understand this wonderful revelation, it will change the way we think and our response towards our situation. God loves us so much that he sent His only Son to die for us. Do you think He will leave us when we are down? Of course NOT!

We might say sometimes we don’t feel God’s presence…but His silence is not His absence. How can we feel Him if we murmur and not trusting? God is simply saying, “TRUST ME”! No situation that is too big that God cannot handle and nothing is too difficult for God! He is GOD!!

You see…trust is faith…if we don’t trust, it simply means we don’t have faith and without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak eats only vegetables.(Romans 14:2).See the truth in this scriptures..if we have faith even as a mustard seed, we can say to this mountain, "be thou removed" and it shall be removed. So, this is how powerful faith is.

Hmmm...talking about dependence...we really have to depend on GOD.not halfheartedly but again 100%...i realized when we depend on ourselves, ultimately our strength fails us and then we get frustrated and blame God for what happened..but actually its not Him, its us. Many times, we try to be god of our own lives, but eventually it didn't turn out the way we want. When we start to take control of our lives, God will just stand back and watch. Of course, He will not force Himself on us. It is our choice to turn our eyes to Him in dependence.

When we depend on God means we are dying to our carnal nature, our selfish desires and lay it on the cross and embrace God's will and purpose for us. Our spirit is willing to do that but our flesh is weak. It is the flesh that wants to be glorified and take all the credit. We need the grace of yielding from the Holy Spirit...so we can totally say "God i depend on You" and just let go and let God. Sometimes things happen that we would want to react to the flesh immediately and throw our tantrums...but someone once told me,

'In whatever situation, if we can react in such a way that reflect God and glorify Him..if we would just stop for five minutes and not react immediately...but consult and ask God..don't you think everything would be fine?...'

Yes..that is called depending on God..if we would just consult God in EVERYTHING, all will turn out well..right?
I came to a point that i know my own strength, wisdom, talents, skill are all limited without God. If i use only what i have for myself it will just be that and will not increase. But if i give all that i have to God i know He will increase my talents, wisdom, strength for His kingdom and His glory. That's where I,Me,Myself are not in the picture but only God and God alone gets all the glory.

Lastly, its not about how smart i am, its not about how talented i am, its not about how rich i am , BUT its about HOW GREAT MY GOD IS!! =)

Instrument of Praise

Romans 6:13
Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life ; and offer the parts of your body as instruments of righteousness.

This verse talks about offering the members of our bodies as instruments of righteousness unto God. As how people use musical instruments for praise and worship, God wants our lives as sacrifice of praise for Him. He wants to anoint you not only to play musical instruments but also to empower you to live a life of holiness and purity. Let your life be a musical instrument for the glory of God. Never allow your “instrument” to become “out of tune” because of sin in your life. Let the Master-tuner tune your instrument for His glory. He can take your old “violin” and make it into an instrument of praise.

‘Twas battered and scarred, and the auctioneer
Thought it scarcely worth his while
To waster much time on the old violin,
But he held up with a smile.

“Who will start the bidding for me?

Lord, I can hardly fathom the beauty of where You dwell. Nothing I have experienced on earth can adequately prepare me to experience Your glorious house. But I do know this: I long to see Your house. I am almost weak with my desire to experience Your presence. Everything in me cries out for You, my God!
I am so grateful that I do not have to wait until death to dwell in Your house. You have come to dwell in me through Your spirit, and oh how amazing – now I can choose daily to live in Your presence. How blessed are those who dwell in Your house. Our lives will overflow with praise as we continually gaze upon Your beauty.
My Father, though You allow me to dwell, even now, in Your house, still I live in a world that is filled with danger, toil, and sin. I need Your strength to walk through this world with my eyes on You. My Lord, I commit myself to the journey toward You, daily experiencing more of Your grace and mercy, and finding myself transformed by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
As I travel daily through the dry places of this world, place of tears and travail, may Your Spirit within me well up as a mighty river of life that flows from me and make this world a better place. May those who find themselves in places of desperation experience Your joy, peace, and strength because You have somehow led me into their lives. Not because of anything in me, Lord, but because of Your mighty power at work in me.
Keep my feet on the right path, Lord. As I make this journey through life, help me to grow in strength and intimacy with You. May the end be better than the beginning. I long to appear before You in Zion, my God, because of the grace of Jesus Christ.
Hear my prayer, O Lord God Almighty. I am so serious about this request. This is my heart’s desire. I want so much to dwell in Your house with You, that I would even be content to just hold the door for others to enter. Just that proximity to You would be joy. I’d rather stand by Your door as a servant than live in the greatest mansion in this life.
I’m so grateful that Your house is available to me even now. In the midst of the darkness of this world, You give light and protection. You shine bright as the sun, changing my life, and allowing me to walk in Your light, warmth and life-giving power. Lord, You do this for everyone who has been made blameless in Your sight through Jesus Christ. Thank You for that amazing blessing of Your presence and power.
I want You to know, Lord, that I turn from dependence upon anyone or anything else other than You. My trust is in You – not just for heaven some day, but for everyday life now. Thank You for the gift of faith that opens up the blessings of Your house for me this day.

Well...i'm going to talk about love again..last weekend, i attended a wedding ceremony in a church for the first time..i'm kinda impressed with the whole thing..how the bridegroom awaits the bride and all that..it reminds me of what is going to take place in the days ahead..=)

Anyway, what really amazed me was the pastor's message..everybody will expect a lovey-dovey message on a wedding day..but what he shared was not that.he gave a straight forward and a realistic sermon on love. He said at the point of marriage, the love they had for each other is just romantic love...because the reality will set in when they live together and each will see the other bad habits and will their love still be as hot for each other as on the marriage day itself? If you were to see :

i) A couple holding hands,trying to steal some kisses here an there -> they are not married

ii) A couple holding hands just talking to each other -> they've been married for a year

iii) A woman walk in front and the other man following behind -> they've been married for more than 5 yrs

Interesting right but this is the real thing..that is why we see so many divorce cases nowadays..ppl are becoming more and more impatient and selfish...so the question is how do we maintain our love for one another?how do couples make sure that their love and passion will never die down?

1 John 4:7-10
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

There is only one simple concept...let God will in the center of your relationship and love with the love of God..what is love?For ...let this verse get into your spirit and meditate on it...once the your relationship is based on the love of God,you don't have to worry about it anymore...draw near to God and He will draw near to you..the pastor did say that personally each of us have to spend time with God..when we put God first in our lives,He will take care of everything..for it is written "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Is life all about boyfriends?can girls live without them??hmmm..i'm very speechless when i see some of my friends get caught up with all these *sweet nothings* from guys....i dont understand why..the thing is when girls start to have boyfriends,their whole lifestyle change to suit that particular person,they compromise just to please him,skipped meals for him and ignore their own girlfriend advice..ppl say love is blind..do you really think true love is blind?can it be so blind that girls are so easily get caught in it?if this is the case then it is not true love bcause. true love is this:

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1corinthians13)

so,ask your boyfriends and yourself can both of you fulfill what is written above?if the answer is no means its not true love anymore.of course none can find true love in this world.if you think you have found so called true love pls wake up!don stay in dreamland.
I'm not against having boyfriends..just that i cant stand it when girls no longer have their own principles after getting involved in a relationship.what is so great in a guy that he can change everything about you and dump you when he is bored?girls are loyal and faithful but too bad guys are not.that is why there are so many heartbroken girls..maybe some ppl can say "its only for experience" but why wud you want such kind of experience?is it worth to have an experience of getting yourself being hurt?think of it life is definitely more than that!
There's only one reason ppl are going one boy after another:it is because that they have this longing in their hearts that is not filled..that longing to be loved,accepted and wanted..and tis longing can never be filled with the love of the world.Only the love of God can feel the longing in our hearts..some ppl might not understand what i'm talking about but i hope Christians who are reading this are able to understand.
We have not much time left on this earth..so why not spend every minute we have for eternity? and not for this world that is going to pass away.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives.
